Permanent Erosion Control

Enkamat 7003

Enkamat® 7003 is a lightweight three-dimensional turf reinforcement mat (TRM) made of continuous monofilaments fused at their intersections. Ninety-five (95%) percent of the Enkamat is open and available for soil, mulch and root interaction, creating the most effective root reinforcement mat (R2M) available. Enkamat is manufactured from nylon to eliminate the buoyancy factor associated with submerged conditions and provides permanent TRM protection in vegetated channels as well as on slopes.

Enkamat 7010, 7020

Enkamat® 7010 and 7020 are three-dimensional turf reinforcement mats (TRMs) made of continuous monofilaments fused at their intersections.

Enkamat S 7520

Enkamat® S is a high-performance geosynthetic composite that incorporates a high tenacity polyester geogrid within the entangled filaments of the three-dimensional turf reinforcement mat (TRM). The combination of a high-strength tensile member and a high performance TRM provides unique properties for new and unique applications, with or without vegetation, in channels, steep slopes and as a grip layer under vegetated veneers.

Drainage

Enkadrain 3611R, 3615R, 3811R

Enkadrain 3611R and 3615R are both of a new generation of environmentally conscious Enkadrain products. This drainage composite consists of a post-industrial recycled polypropylene drainage core of fused, entangled filaments and a geocomposite fabric bonded to one side. The entangled filaments are molded into a square waffle pattern that maintains the flexible design of other Enkadrain products. This product, because it exceeds 40% post-industrial recycled content, can help contribute up to 2 LEED points when used in conjunction with other recycled content products. Enkadrain 3611R can contribute towards additional LEED points when used with a green roof by reducing stormwater runoff, heat islands and energy consumption. The second fabric found in Enkadrain 3811R eliminates the need for protection board and stops penetration and migration of bitumen membrane.

Enkadrain 9120

Enkadrain 9120 is a drainage product consisting of a nylon core of fused, entangled filaments and a geotextile fabric bonded to one side. The product is used as a means of relieving hydrostatic pressure from backfills abutting below grade structures, planters and for lateral drainage of roof decks.

EnkaRetain & Drain 3111

EnkaRetain & Drain is one of a new generation of products designed specifically for vegetated roofs. This multi-function composite consists of a 50% post-industrial recycled polypropylene drainage core of fused, entangled filaments and a specially formulated water retention fabric bonded to one side. The entangled filaments are molded into a square waffle pattern that maintains the flexible design of other Enkadrain products. The composite water retention fabric consists of a 8 oz/yd² - 100% post consumer recycled non-woven polyester fabric mechanically bonded to a 12 oz/yd² layer of synthetic hydrophilic (water) absorbent mat. The absorbent mat is designed to hold 10 to 12 times its unit weight of water. It is a very strong, durable composite that is extremely resistant to puncture and tearing. The composite is inert to biological degradation and naturally encountered chemicals, alkalis, and acids. This product can help contribute up to 2 LEED points when used in conjunction with other recycled content products. As a part of a green roof it can contribute towards additional LEED points by reducing stormwater runoff, heat islands and energy consumption.

Enkaturf Drain 9320, 9323

Enkaturf Drain 9320 (6 inch wide ) and Enkaturf Drain 9323 (12 inch wide) are strip drain products consisting of a one inch thick nylon core of fused, entangled filaments completely encased in a nonwoven heat-bonded geotextile fabric. Enkaturf Drain strips eliminate the need for perforated drainage pipe and the associated ordeal of installing a larger diameter drain with surrounding aggregate.
